The intranet of Auroville, Auronet, and SYSOP, the service in charge of the domain name of Auroville and related email addresses of the working groups, services, units and all Aurovilians and of Auroville web services, have been taken over by the Secretary of the Auroville Foundation. It is no longer under the purview of the Residents Assembly.
In the current situation, it is not guaranteed that any of the posts and content you will see on Auronet are authentic.
The implication of this action is quite serious. It implies that now the official email addresses of the working groups may be taken over by the ones who are currently trying to bypass processes of Auroville, that now they have access also to all the private informations contained in the email exchanges of all Aurovilians, services, groups and units of Auroville.
