Again the same individuals of the previous day came with some newly hired workers to destroy the forest. Several Aurovilians managed to stop the illegal destruction. The secretary of the foundation office asked the police to come. They came on-site and arrested one volunteer who was present to help preserve the forest.
One retired officer hired by the Secretary with no clear position has been present and has threatened the Aurovilian in charge of Auroville security service whose mission is to ensure the safety of persons.
